' talkin 'bout roots...

Libera360 is a 'not for profit' group composed of industry professionals, private practitioners, students and volunteers who all have one thing in common; they are all Libera Fans.  They unconditionally share what time they can in developing, maintaining, moderating and financing Libera360 to help the London based All Boys Choir, Libera in what little way they can from spreading their music to introducing them to new markets to providing relevant and updated information to fans all over the world.

Libera360 was the brain child of J.V., better known as Azrael (@zrael), an Information and Communication technology Consultant.   He developed the site in 2009 after getting incessant request from his mother to look for information, pictures and videos about the London Based Boys Choir over the web.  Tired of the constant entreaties, he finally decided to put up a site that will attract other fans and encourage them to share what they know and have.  That way, his mom will only have to go to one site.  This is when Libera360.com was born.

It was by a stroke of luck that 2009 was to be the first year that Libera was scheduled for a twin concert in the country!  @zrael wasn’t a fan then, but he was obliged to bring his mom to the concert, and after hearing Libera perform live, he became an instant fan.

Since then @zrael has steadily grown the site into one of the biggest Libera Fan Site out there on the web, which caught the attention of local organizers of the Libera tour through the mediation of one of 360’s resident administrator Joel who is also takes care of the sites finances.  Financing a HUGE site (in terms of resources usage) is expensive but since 360 is a 'not for profit' group site finances have always been a group effort.

Serving as an online partner for the organizers of the Libera 2010 tour, Libera360’s then insignificant team composed of three personnel worked tirelessly with the organizers to whip up two sold out concerts at the RCBC Plaza in April of 2010.  The rest was of course history.

Today, Libera360 is run by a global team of Libera fans and enthusiast whose only motivation is to see Libera conquer the world with their amazing brand of music.

The Logo

Kavvy - Libera360 LogoRunning without a logo, the site experimented from one ‘community identity’ to another, until that fateful Meet & Greet at the RCBC plaza where @zrael noticed Kavana Crossley busily drawing something on the table cloth while waiting for the line of supporters who were out to get their autograph.   After a few egging from some fans, Kavana reluctantly showed his masterpiece to the crowed; a stick figure, arms raised on a ‘V’, grinning wildly with what looked like stars around its head.  After the event, @zrael took a pic of the ‘art work’ and thus Kavvy was born – the new 360 Logo and flag bearer.
